Really cute, and sort of serves me right. See, I used to be pretty cynical about relationships (right? who hasn't been at some point) and I thought that most guys only gave girls flowers on Valentine's Day if they were 1) majorly uncreative, 2) in the dog house, or 3) wanted something more. And while I'm sure many guys do this, I can attest to the fact that it's not always true. Like I said, I was really jaded and thought that most guys were immature and incapable of dating girls. Many still are, I'm sure, but let me vouch for one who definitely isn't. I'm really glad I didn't date through college some days, and this is one of them. Patience, patience, patience.
Oh, and he also got me treats that are perfect for me. Savory and sweet! I like sweet things, but I would pick salty over a sweet treat any day of the week. So he got me dark chocolate and almonds, some hazelnut chocolates, AND some cheese munchies! Yesss. Plus, he makes the best cards in the entire world. I can't prove it to you though, because I'm not letting your read what's inside. <3
A nice little spin on the traditional Valentine's gift, don't you think? Hope you get to celebrate others and feel celebrated today too. Or, that you just don't celebrate this holiday because you think it's dumb. Whatever you do just make sure you have fun today. Be kinds to others and allow them be kind back to you as well.

Yay I love it! =) So sweet.
ReplyDeleteYum! I totally agree with you on the whole salty/sweet thing. I'm gonna be a crazy pregnant lady:-) What a sweet card too! I love when guys make cards. Have a great day of loving! xoxo
ReplyDeleteawww KY so cute!! love the card! homemade is sooo much better. I think valentines day would be better if it wasn't what you got prepackaged at the store but what you could make that best represented your love for someone. good story time.
