Holy underwater exploration, Google!

(Photo found here.)

I was up late last night wasting time online. The downside of this was that I didn't get as much sleep as I would have liked. The upside? Discovering Google's insanely fun homepage dedicated to Jules Verne's 183rd birthday with an underwater facelift. 20,000 leagues under, to be exact.

You can use the red controller to "swim" around, or, if you browse on Chrome you can tilt your computer around and it follows the movement and swims along with you! (Ahh!) As you adventure lower and lower, you find jellyfish, stingrays, squids, an anchor, a treasure chest, divers, and all sorts of other, colorful marine life.

Hurry up and go mess around with it. It's worth the 5 minutes (or more) you'll spend in the midst of your Google-searching this evening.
